The journal
The journal explains the mechanics of a letter that gets an answer. It replaces no template and never tells anyone what to do about their case.
The journal publishes articles explaining the mechanics of a letter that gets an answer: what a department receiving a complaint looks at, how dates and proof bear on a case, what the tone of a follow-up changes. Every fact put forward is tied to a public source, cited at the end of the article.
The journal never publishes advice for a particular situation, nor a position on a named company or dispute: that register belongs to a lawyer or a mediation service, not to this site. Nor does it publish news in the usual sense: its articles stay useful long after their publication date, or else they get corrected.
